Euro-MP calls for quick decision on Jaguar's future

West Midlands Euro-MP Liz Lynne has today called on Jaguar bosses to end the uncertainty surrounding their two plants in the West Midlands.

Speaking following the refusal by US bosses to rule out factory closures the Liberal Democrat MEP said:

"There appears to be confusion between Jaguar in the UK and US parent company Ford. Jaguar saying there will be no job losses while Ford officials are refusing to rule it out.

"This only manages to lower morale at these plants and it is time the company ended speculation and announced their decision. The workers at Coventry and Birmingham deserve better than to have to read about their job security in newspapers."
