Back the Green Tax Switch

Liz Lynne and the Liberal Democrats believe that climate change is one of the most important issues affecting the UK today. We need to work together to combat the threat of environmental catastrophe.

Liz has campaigned across the West Midlands region for green projects including environmentally friendly trains and regional recycling programmes.

Liz has also met local members of activists groups such as Friends of the Earth to discuss environmental legislation taking place in the European Parliament.

The Liberal Democrats have proposed a Green Tax Switch, which would see green taxes become a much larger part of the nation's tax burden. Those who pollute less will save money while those who continue to destroy the environment may pay more.
